Simulation Enviroments for Model Based System Analysis of Refrigeration Systems

Some commonly used simulation tools (for 1-D Simulation digital twin, Refrigerant Properties analysis etc.) are listed below. Most of these utilize the Modelica modeling language.

Modelica is an object-oriented, declarative, multi-domain modeling language used for simulating and analyzing complex systems. It allows users to represent physical systems, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, thermal, control, and chemical process components, using mathematical models. The Modelica language and its associated libraries are open-source, providing a flexible and customizable environment for modeling.

There is other simulation tool for refrigeration system: DSIMAC. see http://www.dsimacusa.com or http://www.simulateHVACR.wordpress.com. it can do coil circuiting, unified cooling/heating for heat pump, unified static/dynamic simulation, residential system and commercial system (chiller). it can help design refrigeration system and control algorithms development.
